This multiple award-winning family game plays remarkably well with all ages – put a 6-year-old, a teenager, a parent, and a grandparent around the same table and everyone is sure to be equally entertained.
After being dealt seven cards apiece, players quickly place all sets of matching cards from their hands face up on the table where they’re worth points but can immediately be stolen by any player who holds a matching card in his or her hand. Players steal at will, without taking turns, and even a slight pause in the action signals the dealer to give each player another card, keeping the game moving in perpetual motion. The round ends when someone plays the final card from his or her hand and calls “Ruckus,” at which time each player earns one point for every card in their sets on the table, and subtracts one point for every card that was still in their hand when the round ended. The player who ended the round earns a five point bonus for going out.
