Mr. and Mrs. "Big Poop" fell in love with Galena, as we expect you will.  We have been crazy enough to stay in retail all our lives. So, the two came together and Poopsie's was born in 1993. This is our only store, and we expect it always will be. We roam North America several times each year in search of the 6000 or so wacky and wonderful things that fill the shop, and always can't wait to get back. It seems the world is populated with lots of folks nearly as crazy as we are. Most of those who find their way to our place seem to have enough fun to come back. Some of them even can't resist buying.
What gives us that warm fuzzy feeling? Letting us help you find that perfect something, whether it is for an aunt, your mom, the kids, or Kitty. Maybe even a little something for you! If your favorite look is country craft, we'll cheerfully point you toward another shop, cause then we can't help. Historic Downtown. If you go down about three blocks, on your left look for the sign shining in the early day sunshine welcoming you to our doorway. This solid brick double-front store was built in 1851. Since it opened its doors a century and a half ago, people have always 
been welcome to browse and enjoy the experience. Today it is no different. While the traditional facade remains, inside, Poopsie's has taken the interior to a level that is bright, always new and contemporary.
